I updated the site to WordPress 2.8 yesterday, and had to deactivate the “Custom Smilies” plugin. It messed up my posts and wouldn’t allow them to show. I don’t care for the default smilies, so if anyone knows of a similar plugin that will work with the new version of WP, I’d love to know about it!

I finally finished the book I’ve been reading since the end of March last night. After reading the Twilight Saga, Little Children by Tom Perotta just could not keep my attention. I kept wanting to know what was going to come of the relationship between the two main characters, Todd and Sarah, but the story itself was just so dull. I’m now moving on to reading Sweet Home Alabama, which I do not think is at all related to the awesome chick flick.

This week seems to be slowly dragging by…I’m so ready for the weekend! James is off work tomorrow, and we have family coming over in the evening to dinner and game night. Saturday will probably be spent at the pool, and then we’re going to a birthday party for a friend’s son. Sunday, we’ll be back at the pool for a fish fry. This weekend is going to busy, but it will be spent with friends and family!
