Many people decide to visit Florida when deciding on their vacation destination. It offers an extremely warm climate that makes it perfect for many popular tourist activities. Below are just a few of the fun activities that you can take part in if you decide to travel to Florida!
Swimming at the Beach
Many people visit Florida so that they can enjoy a nice, warm beach. Whether you are wanting to take a swim in the ocean or just relax underneath an umbrella, the beaches of Florida offer something for everyone. Kids especially love the beach, as they can play volleyball, go on a seashell hunt, or build sandcastles! Also, the beach is a great place to go skin boarding or snorkeling!
Visiting a Theme Park
There are tons of theme parks in Florida that attract hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. Disney World is probably the most popular of these parks. It’s fun for people of all ages, and with so much to do, you could easily spend a week or two just at Disney’s parks! Other popular theme parks in Florida include Universal Studios, Busch Gardens, LEGOLand, and SeaWorld.
Florida Bingo Halls

Watching the Daytona 500
By far the most prestigious race in NASCAR, the Daytona 500 is a fun and memorable experience for all of those that attend. The race is held at the Daytona International Speedway on the last Sunday in February each year. Fans can take advantage of the Sprint Fanzone where they can get closer to the track and garages.
This is in no way everything to do in Florida – if I were to try to include it all, the post would be huge (and would probably never be completely finished). However, this list will give you an idea of things you may want to include in your Florida vacation!

Thanks for your comment! Being from Georgia, Florida is usually our “go to” spot for vacation…though I am not a huge fan of the beach haha (I’m very fair skinned,which doesn’t go well with the hot sun!).
