Dear Sawyer,

Gaming with Uncle Zach
It seems like just yesterday I was writing you a letter for month 19. Time could slow down a little – as well as your growing!
You are now saying lots of phrases using two to three words. You say “please”, “thank you”, “you’re welcome”, and “‘cuse me” (Excuse me). People comment on how well mannered you are, and it’s something that Daddy and I are really trying to instill in you. You also say “love you!” and have recently started adding the person’s name you are saying that too…such as “wub vu Mommy!” It melts my heart to hear you say that before bed
Still no new teeth, and frankly, I am getting a little concerned about that! You still only have 10 – and only two in the front on the bottom. There aren’t even any teeth that look like they want to come through. You don’t go to the dentist again until August, and if they aren’t in by then, I will be asking about them.
Nana bought you a stuffed monkey that you call “George” and you now have two sleeping buddies at night. You still love Mickey and look so cute laying down with an animal under each arm. You are watching more television shows now, but your favorite is still “Moe Moe!” You like Blue’s Clues and Super WHY.
Your sleeping issues that you had the past couple months are started to subside, and you are going to bed and nap wonderfully. You are becoming very headstrong, and if you want something, you don’t hesitate to let us know! You had your first swim of the season this week with Auntie Krista. You were in a life jacket for the first time and wasn’t too sure about that, but you still loved the water.
Next month, we are going to North Carolina for Mommy’s blogging conference, and the hotel has an indoor water park. You and Daddy will have lots of time to play in the water! I will have to take plenty of photos for sure!
Love,
Mommy

Aw I cant wait until my 13 mo can say “love you” how precious!
Congrat! You made me cry! My little guy is just a few months younger than yours, so it was especially sweet for me to read. And as a former waitress, I want to thank you for instilling manners in your child. It was always a crapshoot walking up to a table with children. I always made it a point to thank the parents of well mannered kids. There is nothing better than that
What a cutie pie! He is getting so big. I hope his teeth start coming in without issues so you don’t have to worry about that.
What a sweet idea to write letters for him. Something I should have started for my son too.
