Sometimes after indulging in one of my favorite treats, I feel guilty. I think about how bad these foods are for me, and how they are doing nothing for my weight loss. However, now that Hershey has come out with a new chocolate, I am officially declaring my sweet independence from this guilt!
The new product I am referring to is Hershey’s Simple Pleasures. These are small pieces of chocolate that give me the right amount of sugar my sweet tooth craves. What’s better, Hershey’s Simple Pleasures chocolates have 30 percent less fat than the average leading milk chocolates, allowing me to indulge without feeling so bad about it.
Hershey recently sent me a sample of their Simple Pleasures chocolates for my review. I received the Milk Chocolate with Chocolate Creme, Dark Chocolate with Chocolate Creme, and Milk Chocolate with Vanilla Creme.
These chocolates come individually wrapped, which makes it easier to only eat one at a time. I simply grab one out of the pack and open it as I walk away. That eliminates the guilt of standing there eating 3-4+ pieces for sure!
My favorite, by far, is the Milk Chocolate with Chocolate Creme. I like all three flavors, but I like milk chocolate over white or dark. And the creamy chocolate on the inside just adds to the smooth taste. The entire chocolate has just the right amount of sweetness that allows me the independence from cravings, and I don’t feel bad after having one.
Hershey is giving their fans the chance to declare their own “Sweet Independence” from whatever may be holding them back this summer. Visit their Facebook page to find out more and to download a coupon to try out these chocolates yourself.
Also, there is a Twitter party coming up in celebration of the new chocolates!
Date – Wednesday, July 11
Time – 8-9 p.m. ET
Hashtag – #hsysimplepleasures
Prizes – Five prizes will be given away throughout the hour of the Twitter party. Each prize will be a sample pack of the Hershey’s Simple Pleasures chocolate varieties (the same sample pack I received).
Disclosure: I received product samples from Hershey in exchange for my honest, unbiased review. All opinions are 100% mine.
