Father’s Day is coming up this Sunday, and hopefully everyone has at least decided on the perfect gifts for the special men in their lives. In time for the holiday, Wendy’s has something that you can all do together to help other families! And it’s delicious, too!
This weekend (June 16 & 17), anyone can help children in foster care find permanent, loving homes. Continuing its Father’s Day Frosty Weekend tradition for the sixth year in a row, Wendy’s is inviting customers to help donate money for Wendy’s Wonderful Kids. This signature program of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption is dedicated to finding permanent adoptive families for children in foster care. Here’s what you need to know:
The Who: Everyone – if you can buy a Frosty, you can help!
The What: Help Wendy’s make a big donation to Wendy’s Wonderful Kids, the signature program of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption that is dedicated to finding permanent adoptive families for children in foster care. They hope to surpass last year’s donation of $1.4 million dollars! Let’s Help!
The When: Father’s Day Weekend (June 16 – 17)
The How: There are three ways that you can help raise money!
1. Buy any Frosty product: For each Frosty sold on Saturday, June 16 and Sunday, June 17 at participating Wendy’s, $0.50 will be donated to Wonderful Kids. (includes the original, parfaits, shakes and floats).
2. Check in at Wendy’s on the mobile-friendly website: Wendy’s will also donate $0.50 for each customer check in at a restaurant during Father’s Day Weekend (June 16 and 17 only) using Wendy’s special mobile-friendly website found at www.wendys.com/
3. Re-tweet: Now through Father’s Day, re-tweet one of @Wendys special Twitter posts with the hashtag #TreatItFwd—and Wendy’s will make a 50-cent donation. Follow @Wendys on Twitter to stay up to date and re-tweet!
