These days, it is important to get every discount or deal that you can get on your purchases. You want to buy quality items that will last a long time, and getting a good deal will only sweeten the pot. Coupons can also help you put back money for unexpected expenses, such as doctor’s appointments and car maintainance.
I have quickly learned that you can find an online coupon for almost any website. Sure, there are some that do not offer any deals, but most will if you know how to find the right code. Here are the steps I take to stay up to date on all the available discounts I can get with online coupons.
1. Sign up for online merchant newsletters. Most will have a place right on their site that will allow you to subscribe. Many of these retailers will send exclusive coupons to their mailing list. This can be a great way to get coupons that are not available to the general public.
2. Google the name of the website you are shopping on as well as the word “coupons”, “coupon codes”, or “promo codes”. This is likely to return lots of good results for you that are specific to the site you are about to make a purchase on.
3. Check out coupon sites such as Coupon Chief. If you realize that option 2 in my list is very time consuming, this option will remedy that. Coupon Chief coupon codes are easy to search though, so that you can locate the ones you need to use within minutes. The have several different stores available, so be sure to always check there before you submit your order on any site.
For example, they have a store dedicated to Old Navy, my favorite website to shop at when it comes to clothing for myself. If you aren’t sure where you want to shop, but know you want to find the best discounts and coupon codes, you can also search Coupon Chief by a tag, like beauty or home decor.

What a great idea. I’ll have to google for “coupon codes”, or “promo codes”. I have signed up for some stores deal of the day like Amazon and Ebay but never thought I should also do Old Navy or Target. Thanks for all the tips. I love a bargain and to save $$
