When it comes to giving gifts, I like to find unique ways to present the items. I like to hide them so they will be found later, when the recipient isn’t expecting them. We’ve also done scavenger hunts when giving multiple gifts. Money has been hidden in larger gifts or even books. When I first heard about Foldin’ Money, I knew I wanted to try out a set of their designs. I am usually not big on giving money as a gift, but now that I can give it in a unique way, it’s actually a lot of fun!
Foldin’ Money kits allow you to fold the dollar bills in different shapes. The shape you choose to use could be dependent on the reason the gift is being given. There is a heart shape (see below) that could be used for Valentine’s day, a house design for a housewarming shower, and a tie design for Father’s day. The designs are sold in packs of four, and there is also a Jackpot collection that features 13 designs.
I received the red collection, which features the cake, heart, tree, and tie designs. My sister and I spent over an hour assembling designs and then taking them apart to try others. The only potential downside is that the template has to be given along with the money when you give the gift. Therefore, you will have to purchase refills in the future if you want to use the template more than once.
