IKEA Soft Toys are sure to be a hit this holiday season. They are incredibly cuddle-worthy animals perfect for babies and toddler. I was recently able to review a few of the stuffed toys from this line, and my son was happy to help me out.

For our review, we received the Torva, Leka Cirkus, and Gosig Valp.

The Torva Soft Toy is the carrot you see to the left. I can think of SO many fun things to do with this little guy. He’s perfect for teaching young kids about eating healthy. He’d also be good for educating them on the color orange. After all that learning, he’s also a perfect toy for a hug!

The Leka Cirkus, located in the bottom right of the photo, is an adorable musical toy perfect for all ages. It’s basically a soft, plush representative of a common magic trick – pulling a rabbit out of a hat. Pulling on the rabbit in this case will bring a peaceful melody to your ears. It’s a very cute toy and one that can promote motor skills as well as hearing and sight.

The Gosig Valp, the cute brown puppy you see below, is a great companion for kids. He’s the perfect dog to cuddle with at night or carry around during the day. His fur is very soft and it made me want to use him as a pillow! Unfortunately, Sawyer staked claim to him first so I haven’t got to see him much.

These stuffed toys are not only the perfect holiday gift this year, but your purchase of any one of them helps contribute to a very important campaign. Just in time for the holiday season, the IKEA Soft Toys for Education campaign is back in full swing! Running from November 4 – December 29, IKEA will continue to raise money to educate children around the world with the IKEA Soft Toys for Education Campaign.

IKEA Soft Toys – which also include finger puppets and books as well as several other types of stuffed animals – range in price from $.49 – $19.99. They can be purchased at all IKEA stores or online.

For every IKEA Soft Toy that a customer purchases, one euro (approximately $1.35 US) is donated to the Soft Toys for Education Campaign. Since 2003, the IKEA Soft Toys for Education campaign has donated $61.75 million (€47.5 million) in donations to UNICEF and Save the Children, helping eight million children through over 70 programs.

I just have to say, hello! I am also a WAHM in Georgia :) I live about 2 hrs away from the nearest IKEA but I am itching to make a trip. And, believe it or not, one of the Ikea stuffed animals, the cute little hedgehog from the current catalog is already on my wishlist for my kids this Christmas.
