I have to admit – upgrading my husband’s drawers (yes, you heard that right) was a topic I never thought I’d write about on my blog. However, it’s an event that has been a long time coming and I finally got the go ahead to update his undies!
My husband is one of those that doesn’t like to get rid of anything when it comes to clothing. He will hold onto a t-shirt for years, even if there’s stains and holes in it. The same with socks – and unfortunately, undies.
It’s crazy, because I like to go out and buy new things (in all areas of clothing) for myself and the kiddo, but the hubby is perfectly content wearing the same ol’ thing day after day. I mean, look at these ratty things!
Given the green light to revamp his drawer, I received a pack of MaLo underwear, created by Mario Lopez, to review with him. He’s fairly loyal to his brands, so I was sure he’d want to protest when he saw a new logo on the packaging. However, he actually seemed interested from the moment he saw the pack!
The colors were tame enough for him – as he’s more of a black/gray/navy type of guy when it comes to undies. He liked the style, and I won’t lie about thinking boxer briefs are the ONLY sexy men underwear out there. Everything else just seems a little too…blah for me! 
The fit of the MaLo underwear was perfect as well. He doesn’t like them to come down too far on his legs (a comfort issue, I guess?), so the shortness of these are great for him. They don’t bunch up when he’s getting dressed nor do they ride up during the day.
When upgrading his drawer, I was only allowed to toss three pairs of his current undies to make room for the new. BUT – I do see us buying more #MaLoUnderwear in order to keep revamping his drawers. I’m going to see if I can’t talk him into some of wilder colors Mario Lopez’s line of undies is offered in!

We have a tradition at our house – my mother in law buys undies for everyone every Christmas… strange but true, so I can usually get into hubby’s drawers before the undies get too bedraggled… I’ll have to keep my eyes out for MaLo underwear though… haven’t seen them yet.

My husband’s getting some of these for Christmas! These look very durable and I love the assortment of colors. I’m always looking for a good brand boxer for him.
