Indoor Activities to Beat the Winter Blues

It’s cold, icy, and rainy outside. The holidays are over and it’s back to the hum drum of real life. Time for some fun indoor activities for the kids! How do you keep your little ones entertained at home, when all they want to do is run outside and burn off their energy climbing trees?

Sawyer usually goes outside at least once a day, but all the rain and cold temperatures has me keeping him in all day. To occupy his time, he typically watches television, plays with puzzles, or colors. All of that can get a little boring after the 50th time of doing it though, and I don’t like the idea of him watching too much TV.

If only there were ways to beat the winter blues that didn’t get too repetitious…Enter BabbaCo.

The BabbaBox makes an absolute perfect solution for those indoor blues! If it is too cold, too dark, too grey to play outside, create an incredibly warm, rich world by playing pretend with your child. We all know that we can go a little stir crazy looking for great activities in the post-holiday winter slow down, and the “My Awesome Adventures” BabbaBox provides the perfect antidote!

Every month, a new BabbaBox will be delivered right to your door, ready to provide your child with lots of imaginative entertainment. Designed for little ones ages 3-7, it is also a win-win for parents. No more Googling creative ideas to spend time with your children. Just open the box and have fun!

I wanted to thank you for the nice comment you left on my blog earlier today. I enjoyed hearing from you. I will check into these as I need to find new resources for us with my sons school so thanks for sharing your thoughts for us.

I absolutely love Babba Box! I did a review with them once and was so impressed with the amount of stuff in each box.

  7. Janet says:

I like the idea of these monthly boxes. I don’t have a creative mind but my boy loves to craft.

  8. Sarah says:

I loved my BabbaBox! I work FT outside the home so the last thing I want to do is drive all over trying to find all the materials I need to do a craft project with my daughter. I love that they provide everything you need in the box! We still read the rainbow book that came with my daughter’s BabbaBox this summer.

  9. Stacey W. says:

Such a great idea…new ideas of what to do every month!

  10. Stephanie Hastie says:

One winter day that stands out for me, was my daughter;s birthday party. It snowed, and we had to cancel. 2 friends were close enough to come, so they brought their bathing suits. I cranked up the heat, and they and their barbies played with water, “sand” (a rice table) and preetended it was summer. snadwiches and lemonade and ice cream cones!
