September is Baby Safety Month, and to help raise awareness and celebrate, MamaNYC is hosting “Keepin’ Baby Safe”! Several bloggers have teamed up to offer great prizes focusing on the safety of the little ones. This event will run from September 11-19th and hopefully you’ll be able to find (and win!) some great baby safety products!

Southern Girl Ramblings is giving away a Baby Bond Original Nursing Cover {ARV: $35} This accessory is great for breastfeeding moms, and eliminates the use of blankets or other items when nursing in public.

    Use Cabinet locks and baby gates! Check to make sure glass is tempered, there is alot of cheap furniture with cheap glass out there…. we got rid of ours and bought a wood table.

    If you can’t see them (since they can realistically be in your line of sight ALL the time)…listen (especially toddlers). Learn the sounds of your house, so that you can tell what they are touching or doing. If they go silent, go check!
