We go through a lot of sippy cups around here. Some of them have been left behind at restaurants while others eventually get wore down or start to look dirty, no matter how much we clean them. Others leak and once we realize they do that, they go in the trash. Luckily, we were able to replace a couple of lost cups in our stash with Munchkin Click Lock Cups.
The first thing I thought when I opened the box and saw the cups is that I love the colors. They are great colors, and neutral so that either gender can use them. They each hold 9 ounces of liquid, which is a great size for a growing toddler.
Both of these cups are easy to take apart for washing. I like that about a cup – we have had a couple that were a nightmare to wash because of all the parts and the difficulty of putting it all back together after washing!
These cups were ready to go in just a few minutes. There is a folded paper in each cup that will quickly teach you about care instructions and other important info.
I also really like the Click Lock technology in these Munchkin cups. There have been quite a few times when we were in a hurry and didn’t get the lid on a cup properly.
This leads to leaks, wet clothes, and possible stains. You actually hear the click with these, so there isn’t a possibility of not putting the lid on tight enough.
Of the two cups, I think my son preferred the Flip Straw Cup best. He enjoys drinking from a straw when he can, but that usually involves cups that aren’t made for toddlers (for example, ones with lids that do not screw on tightly to prevent leaks). The flip top was also fun for him to open and close, once he got the hang of it. I like that he can have a straw that doesn’t make a mess!

I remember the constant struggle with sippy cups when my kids were that age. Too bad there weren’t cups like these around when I needed them!
We have this cup and we really like it! The only issue I have is that milk travels up the straw and drips out, but I haven’t found a sippy cup that doesn’t do this, so I just have to be careful that my son doesn’t leave them lying around!
Yes, I also wish these had been around when I had kids. Have to tell a friend about these.
My grandson is just starting to use sippy cups, so I’m going to tell my daughter about this post so she can read it too.
