Has it really been two weeks since I started Nutrisystem?! It doesn’t seem like it at all. I am still enjoying the food, and I love being able to try new foods each day. I am definitely finding some favorites, and cannot wait to place a new order for month 2!
For lunch, the Chicken Fajita Melt was delicious. Other favorites include Italian Herb Flatbread Pizza for dinner, and Chocolate Chip Pudding for dessert.
Nutrisystem’s program also supports including lots of veggies in your day. There is a list that you should add in to get 3-4 servings each day, and I am finding that with a large salad at lunch or dinner, I have no problem including them.
My favorite things to include are lettuce, broccoli, cucumbers, and carrots. Cheese and salad dressings are considered extras (which you can have up to 3 of each day), so I can dress up the veggies for the perfect side!
One problem I am still struggling with is my exercise. The first week, I went swimming once and walked twice. This week, I walked 3 days. Nutrisystem recommends a Daily 3, which equals 30 minutes of activity each day. I know what I’ve done is more than what I have done in the past (pre-Nutrisystem), but I wonder if I would have lost more weight in these first 2 weeks if I had got the 30 minutes every day as recommended.
Therefore, my exercise goals for the coming week is to get my Daily 3 at least 5 days!
Okay, now for this weeks results…I’m down another 1.2 lbs!! I am stoked to see the number on the scale decreasing each week, and I know the loss is helping to keep me going!
Week 1 = -3.0
Week 2 = -1.2
Total Loss = -4.2
