Here we are at the end of another week on my Nutrisystem journey. I cannot believe it’s already been 3 weeks since I began! I placed my order for month 2′s food this week, and I will be happy to restock my dwindling food supply.
This week, I must admit that I slipped a little. I was going great until Friday, when my little brother came home from college. This was his first time home since he moved into his dorm (at a college 4 hours away) at the beginning of August, so my whole family went out to celebrate his visit home.
While I didn’t do horribly bad, I did indulge a little bit. We had our favorite local Mexican restaurant. Instead of leaving with a stomach full of tortilla chips and a full plate of food, my husband and I shared a meal, and I slowly munched on the chips (eating maybe 8?) before our food came out. I drank water, so no extra calories there.
Speaking of water, it’s been so easy to get my eight 8-ounce glasses each day. On the days I exercise, I almost always drink more. Having the Nutrisystem water bottle by my side at all times has really made it easier. The only downside is the increase in bathroom breaks I need to take every day!
I know that it is very good for my kidneys and overall health, however, I have never really had a problem with drinking water…I usually just don’t think to drink enough each day. Problem solved!
Okay – now for my results. This week, I lost 1 lb! I am excited about the steady loss I am seeing…especially this week when I felt a little guilty after eating out.
I am starting a new two week exercise challenge this week, so that should help me continue to lose, as well as break up the monotony of the walking that I have been doing at least 3 days a week since starting my journey.
Week 1 = -3.0
Week 2 = -1.2
Week 3 = -1.0
Total Loss = -5.2

5 pounds in 3 weeks is outstanding! I wish I had the will power to go on a diet.
Wow, your’e doing great so far! Keep it up!
Congrats on the weight loss thus far. I have a hard time getting my water daily. I need to drink more. Keep up the good work, we all slip up from time to time.

Keep at it! You are doing good!
You’re doing fantastic! I actually am having issues hitting that full water mark, but I’m finding that hard exercise definitely helps me hit it!
Very nice! Slow and steady is the best way to lose weight and keep it off. Keep up the great work!

Sadly so does my 2 year old and i”m always hunting for where she has taken off with it. I think I need two of them. lol.
