Here we are at the end of my fifth week on Nutrisystem! I am about a third of the way finished with my four month program that I am doing with the company.
This week, I was doing okay with eating right…until yesterday. My son is turning 2 on Thursday and we celebrated with a party yesterday. I decided to splurge and have a couple pieces of pizza and a slice of cake.
That one day of splurging was apparently enough to cause no movement on the scale…I didn’t gain or lose this week. I hate that there was not a weight loss, but I’m also happy that there wasn’t a gain after the way I ate yesterday!
Looking back at the last 5 weeks, however, I am a bit frustrated with myself. I have no problem following the program when it comes to eating (minus the “my brother came home from college” eating out and yesterday’s birthday festivities), but I am still struggling with exercise! I feel that I am coming to a point where healthy eating alone will not help me continue to lose. I have to put forth more effort into getting up and being active.
I love how Nutrisystem understands that it’s not all about food. I have to work harder at getting my Daily 3 that the program recommends. It helped that I did that two-week exercise challenge, but it ended today so now I have to put my own personal challenges into play. This week, 4 days of 30 minutes walking/jogging…at minimum!!
Week 1 = -3.0
Week 2 = -1.2
Week 3 = -1.0
Week 4 = -1.4
Week 5 = -0.0
Total Loss = -6.6

Woohoo! Keep it up, so great!
6 lbs down is great- even having a slow week. I had a splurge day (or two) and my scale didn’t stop- it reversed! sigh. Keep it up!!
It feels great to loose weight steadily as it is more likely to stay off! Congrats on success with Nutrisystem!
Sounds like you’re on the right track! Keep it up, it will be so worth it in the end!
I find that the more I move, the more I lose even if everything else is kept the same.
Don’t let one week get you down!
Awesome job on the weight loss! Keep it up!
