Nutrisystem Week 7: Gaining Muscle, Losing Fat #NSNation

After seven weeks, I still have to say that Nutrisystem is the easiest weight loss program I have followed. With the meals perfectly portioned to help you lose weight and keep it off, it’s easy not to over-indulge or get too many calories. The only problem lies when I eat out or at someone else’s home.

Thankfully though, I am learning about better portion control. I know it’s okay to have something a little bad, as long as I only have a couple bites and not 2+ servings!

I still try to just eat my Nutrisystem food at home, or have it on hand when I’m out, so that I don’t have to worry that I’m going to take in too many calories.

Even with it being an easy plan, I saw my first gain this week. :( I am losing inches, however, so I think it’s safe to say I am losing fat but gaining muscle…hence the scale going up just a bit.

I am sure that’s the case since I’ve started exercising more. I actually got in a full week’s worth of exercise this week. I have to avoid letting the number on the scale get to me so much – as long as I am seeing/feeling results elsewhere, I know it’s working for me.

This week, I gained 0.6 pounds. I am putting my goal to getting my Nutribear next week – hopefully my body cooperates with the scale a little more! :)

Week 1 = -3.0
Week 2 = -1.2
Week 3 = -1.0
Week 4 = -1.4
Week 5 = -0.0
Week 6 = -2.4
Week 7 = +0.6
Total Loss = -8.4
