This week was a busy one for our household. A few days, my son and I were away from home, helping move my younger brother into his college dorm. When I was home, it seems like I had 1,001 things to do! Because of our busy-ness, I only had one day free to do this week’s assignment for my Sears Grilling photography class.

With this being the sixth week in the course, it was time to bring the technical and creative skills we have been taught all together by throwing a get together using the grill as our food supply. I wanted to cook a better meal, but we settled for hot dogs for our party. My sister came over and ate with us – we were expecting a friend as well but she couldn’t make it. :(

I do feel like I have gotten better with my photography, thanks to this course. However, I feel like this week’s photographs could have been much better, maybe with a different meal, more planning, and more time to take the photos. Here are some of the best out of the 30 or so taken!

We are down to the wire in our course – I cannot believe it’s almost over!!
