I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Starburst. I received product samples to facilitate my review and promotional item as a thank you for participating.
Halloween is a great time for parties and entertainment. It doesn’t always just have to be for kids either. Adults can have a wonderful time through a get-together! I think it would be lots of fun to entertain a few of my friends in our home – a child-free event is just needed sometimes! And, you can’t throw an event without Halloween party favors!
I recently heard that Tori Spelling has teamed with Starburst Candy Corn to offer tips for Halloween treats and decoration. All of the ideas she has shared involve the yummy Halloween candy. I thought the Festive Favors shared on Starburst’s Facebook page were especially cute, and they looked delicious!
I love sending people home with a little something after they’ve attended – it’s a great reminder of the fun they had! So, these simple Halloween party favors would fit the bill perfectly. Though I liked the idea of making the favors Tori shared, I decided to put my own spin on them. Instead of jars, I went for a more Candy Corn-shaped look. See what I mean below!
Starburst Candy Corn Halloween Party Favors
- Couple bags of Starburst Candy Corn
- Cake Decorating Bags
- Orange/Red/Yellow Ribbon
- Gift Tags (optional, easy to print yourself!)
To begin the Halloween party favors, I sorted the Starburst Candy Corn by color/flavor.
I then filled each decorating bag with the candy. I did some with layered colors to bring out the look of original candy corn. Others were done with one solid color. I wanted variety and to cater to my guests’ preferences.
Next, I twisted the end of the bag to close it, securing it with an Autumn-colored ribbon. The excess of the bag was then snipped off with scissors.
That’s it! This fun and easy craft makes great Halloween party favors.
Tori Spelling went beyond food and also offered some Halloween decor ideas. I never would have thought to use candy in my handmade decorations! The BOO Sign is very cute, though I know it would take a lot of time and even more Starburst Candy Corn!!
If you haven’t tried Starburst Candy Corn, you should totally grab a bag. Don’t forget to check out the other ideas for festive entertainment and decor offered by Ms. Spelling on the Starburst Facebook page!
