Summer Snacking with New York Style Bagel Crisps

When it comes to hosting game nights and other summer time events at our house, we love to keep the snacks as simple as possible. It can be easy to overwhelm yourself (and your wallet!) with high maintenance recipes, so I try to stay as easy as I can.

I was excited when I recently got the opportunity to try out New York Style Bagel Crisps. These little snacks can be the life of the party! We received the Original Bagel Crisps in a Roasted Garlic flavor as well as Mini Bagels in BBQ. When I opened the box and found the two bags sitting inside, I immediately opened and tasted the Mini Bagels!

Carb snacks like chips, pretzels, and now these bagel crisps are my vice, and I can tell you that New York Style doesn’t disappoint! I enjoyed the BBQ flavor of the crisps and I think they are better eaten alone than with a dip or spread. With the Roasted Garlic originals, however, my husband and I decided to have some fun.

I lathered some pimento cheese spread on my first crisp and gave it a taste. It was really good! The garlic is a little strong but the cheese helps to dull it down a bit. James, the peanut butter fanatic that he is, immediately grabbed the jar out of the cabinet for a taste test. He said it was good, and I think he was a little surprised that peanut butter and the garlic taste went okay together.

We also pulled out the other cheeses we had in our fridge, which were american singles and shredded mozzarella.  Both of those were pretty good on the bagels too!

In the future, we will definitely be using New York Style Bagel Crisps in our summer entertainment plans. These are a great snack that can be combined with a number of spreads for a different taste in every bite. They would be perfect arranged on a plate with a few different dip and spread offerings, so that our guests could sample different flavors and decide for themselves which they like best! Giving your guests options is a great way to offer refreshments at a summertime get-together.
