James and I enjoy board games…a lot. Seriously, we have a stack of almost 20 in our guest room closet! We also like to play games that will bring us closer together, which is why I was happy to review the SYNCROHEARTS Board Game from Dr. Love.
This board game is geared toward couples that are in love, helping them strengthening their relationship. It’s not really a game to play with friends. It can also help to “spice up the love” in your relationship! Don’t get me wrong, though…it’s not some raunchy adult game. It’s a more intimate one, tailored to help you and your S/O connect on a greater level.
Most marriages are not perfect, and when there are kids in the equation, it can be hard for a husband and wife to spend quality time together. James and I find that a lot in our relationship. Even with just one child, his work, my business, and life in general can make it difficult for us to just relax and enjoy each other’s company.
Luckily, this is where SYNCROHEARTS comes into play. It definitely a new way for us to spend quality time together. It’s a simple game to play, with relaxed rules and fun suggestions. Similar to many other games, there is a board, dice, and pawns. The spaces on the game board dictate what you and partner do together, and the actions can be very fun and loving. Some of the game cards can be a little intimate as well…but if you don’t feel comfortable doing or answering anything, you can always draw another.
Once you’ve played through the game a few times, the blank category cards come in handy. Feel free to add in your own ideas for a more personalized SYNCROHEARTS experience. That way it always stays interesting! James and I plan to make playing the board game a monthly event here. At the end of a long, busy month, I am sure both of us will gladly talk 60 to 90 minutes to enjoy spending the time together.
I would guess that SYNCROHEARTS is a hot seller at Valentine’s Day…the most lovey dovey day of the year. The truth is, however, the board game would beneficial to couples all year round. I think it would make a great gift for engaged couples and newlyweds as well. Quality time is important through a relationship, and this game brings a huge amount of that to the table!
