    Before Tying the Knot…

Name the most important things you think a couple should do before getting married.

    1. Meet each other’s families. This is important so that you can get to know everyone. I don’t think it’s a requirement each other’s family like both of you, but at least put forth the effort to meet them.

    2. Live together. I know this is a big no-no for some people, but you never really know how well a marriage will work out until you have lived with each other. Even if you have been together for 10 prior to getting married, it can be completely different when you are around them 24/7.

    3. Date for a while. I’m not saying there is a set period of time the two should date, but it does help to know each other well before making such a big commitment. So many couples nowadays are running to the alter after just 1-2 months of being together. While I do know that these marriages can last, it is very rare that they do.

    4. Discuss the future. Think about what each of you want in life, and make sure your visions for the future are somewhat compatible. Finances, children, careers, and living situations should all be talked about so that the couple are on the same page.

Umm, I can’t think of anything else. What would you add to this list??

I suck at coming up with a good topic today, so I decided to grab a meme

    A Day Of Music:

If you had one day totally free, just to enjoy music, what would you listen to?

I would put my iTunes on shuffle and just let it play. I have a lot of music on my computer (over 500 songs), and half them I haven’t heard in a long time. Would be nice just to see exactly what all I have. I’d definitely include the Nelly and Nickelback that I have on here.

How would the music change as the day went on?

If I didn’t have it on shuffle, I’d start out listening to my favorite songs. After those got boring, I’d probably choose those that I haven’t heard in a while. Toward the end of the day, I’d probably want to buy more tracks that I have been meaning to download but haven’t yet.
