I received an award from Caity the other day…it’s time to fulfill the request.

Ten Things You Might Not Know About Me:

1. My biggest pet peeve is bad drivers. It totally irks me to have someone pull out in front of me, not use blinkers, or cut me off.
2. When I was little (age 3-4), I told everyone I was going to be a boy when I grew up. Growing up with several male cousins who told you you were a sissy if you played with dolls or anything girly can do that to you.
3. I have a habit of talking faster than I can think…This leads to new words, usually due to the fact that I want to say one word, then change to another at the last minute, so the two combine and sound crazy.
4. I once attended Berry College, one of the most prestigious colleges for Education. I ended up coming back home after 2 years.
5. My current guilty pleasure is listening to Miley Cyrus. I can’t stand Hannah Montana, but the girl has some good songs!
6. My worst habit is biting my nails.
7. I procrastinate like there’s no tomorrow.
8. I love Mac & Cheese.
9. I love to read, but the interest comes in spurts. Sometimes I will read 10 or more books in a month, and other times, I will go 6 months without picking up a book.
10. I’ve been out of the country twice…Visited Italy and Mexico.

So, I am trying to think of other things to do on my blog than just writing. First thing I thought of…answering questions! I think I’m going randomly do memes every now and again to help my readers learn more about me.

1. When you write on your blog, are you more often trying to entertain, inform, or persuade?

Since this is a personal blog about my life, I guess it would fall into the “inform” category. I also try to be humorous so that it’s a fun read for my viewers, so I suppose there would be a little entertainment included as well.

2. Do you feel you’re successful most of the time?

Yes and No. Yes, when I actually finish what I start. No, because I am a bad procrastinator, and often get bored with things before I complete them. I am working on that though!

3. Do you consider yourself to be more bold online than in person, or the other way around?

I think I am more bold online…Typing something is easier than saying it to someone out loud.

4. Who would be most embarrassed if they read your blog?

I guess James, since he is who I write about the most. Though, I don’t think I write anything embarrassing about anyone!

As far as my blog is concerned, I have realized that I need to make it more interactive. Posting the generic “what I did today” posts are acceptable, but to have real conversation on your blog, you need to include debatable topics and questions that can spark comments and discussion.
