A couple weeks ago, I ran a giveaway for a very patriotic tumbler from Tervis. I loved the colors the moment I saw it on their website, and was excited when they said they’d also send one for me to review.
The tumbler came packaged very well, so I wasn’t worried about it being chipped or broken as I removed it from the box. The first thought I had when seeing the tumbler was how bright the colors were. Sometimes things don’t look quite the same online as they do in real life, but this tumbler met my expectations from Tervis’ website.
I really like that the design looks like fireworks, but the tumbler isn’t too “July 4th”- ish to not carry all the time. Actually, I have been carrying this for the past week and have gotten a couple of compliments on the colors.
Tervis also sent me the red travel lid, which complements the tumbler very well – and it makes it much easier to transport drinks without being afraid they are going to spill all over me or my son! There is a cover over the opening of the lid that can easily be moved and replaced with a finger.
I haven’t tried the Tervis tumbler with hot drinks – it’s way too warm for that right now – but it does a good job at insulating cold drinks. Even when we made a trip to the park, my drink said cool until I was almost finished with it.
Another feature I like when carrying this tumbler is that it doesn’t sweat like crazy the same some other cups I have. My hand stays dry and my drink stays cool – what more can you ask for!
The patriotic tumbler holds 16 ounces of your favorite beverage, which is a good size for when you are on the go. It’s easy to wash, as it is dishwasher safe. This is a huge deal for busy moms like myself!
Plus, it’s made in the USA, which is great for those that like to purchase American made products when possible.

I like this Tumber a lot! What a very nice color and the tumbler looks very well made! I am going to look at the website for their other tumblers! But I do have to say I like the patriotic tumbler
would have been great on the 4th,,maybe next year
