Trying out Quaker Soft Baked Oatmeal Cookies

As part of the Mom VoxBox from Influenster, I was able to test out Quaker’s Soft Baked Oatmeal Cookies. Though I do not care much for real oatmeal, I have always enjoyed the flavor of oatmeal cookies. The ones made by Quaker didn’t disappoint!

For testing, I received the Raisin variety of this cookie. When taking a bite, the first thing I noticed was the soft, chewy-ness of the cookie. I love cookies that are made like this much better than hard, crunchy ones. The raisins add a second flavor to the oatmeal and the two tastes go good together.

The only downside to the pack was there was only one cookie inside – meaning I only got about half of the cookie, if that. The rest was enjoyed by the kiddo! I definitely see myself purchasing more of these in the future. Made with whole grain Quakers oat and seen as a good source of fiber, they wouldn’t be bad as a snack for him every now and then.

Disclosure: I received a free Quaker cookie to review in the Influenster Mom VoxBox. All opinions are 100% mine.

I love soft oatmeal cookies, and no matter what recipe I use….my cookies are always crispy. Once in a while I will buy the Grandma’s brand and those are very good, but after reading your review…I will give the Quaker ones a try as well. Thanks for your thoughts!
