You can always tell when it is almost grocery shopping time in our home. Several times those last few days leading up to the trip to the supermarket, we open and close the refrigerator door, in search of a snack or meal. It’s like we expect it to replenish itself! I know we are setting a bad example for our son, as kids tend to enjoy opening and closing the fridge door just for the fun of it.
Luckily, LG understands the issue with the fridge door being opened repeatedly. Their new french door refrigerator offers a Door-In-Door feature so that you can check out which of your favorite foods are inside without wasting power by opening the door! The section is magnetically sealed and is separate from the other areas of the fridge. Keep the rest of your food cold and quickly find what you need – or add it to your shopping list if it’s not there – with this handy feature!
When it comes to our house, our favorite go-to foods (and beverage) in the fridge include yogurt, salsa, juice, and salad mix. It would be so convenient to have these foods in my face the moment I opened the Door-In-Door bin!
LG wants to know…what are YOUR favorite fridge foods? While you are deciding, head over to LG’s Food Fight page and cast your vote on who should get the coveted last spot in the Door-In-Door fridge. Should it be Diet Soda, Juicebox, Yogurt, or Mustard? I personally vote for Yogurt, with it being one of my go-to foods and all! Once you vote, there is also a chance to win your own LG Door-In-Door refrigerator!
For those quick trips to the fridge, the Door-in-Door is a magnetically sealed section of the refrigerator that allows you to access the door bin without opening the entire refrigerator. Due to the Door-In-Door feature, less cool air escapes when the easy access compartment is opened, keeping cold air in the rest of the fridge, where it matters most. Whether it’s a refreshing drink, condiments or a healthy snack, the Door-in-Door is the ideal space for quick access to your family’s go-to foods such as canned or bottled drinks, salad dressings and condiments. The favorites in our household are probably vegetables, leftovers and fruit!
The door fight happens often at our house… luckily I always prevail because I clean out the fridge… condiments on one shelf, butter on another, milk, juice and wine round out both doors…
I love this door in door idea. It’s genius!
My current fridge favorites are V-Fusion + Energy drinks, string cheese, apples, and turkey!
