Most pet owners would say their dogs are great for one reason or another. Maybe they know a ton of tricks, are beautifully groomed, or have saved a life. No matter what the reason, everyone that owns a dog can find at least one reason that they possess greatness!
I think our golden retriever, Charmin (yes – like the toilet paper. Long story 
) is great because of his quick ability to learn new tricks. This was very apparent when he was a puppy, but even now he can follow simple directions after a few days of training. He knows sit, down (lay down), stay, play dead, jump, and shake.
Take a look at one of the first videos that we took of our puppy. He learned both tricks within a week and was able to perform both when asked. Wasn’t he a cutie?!
Purina Pro Plan wants to know about your dog’s greatness. The “How Is Your Dog Great?” video contest is going on from now until August 27, 2012. Simply upload a short film, under 2 minutes long, to the Pro Plan YouTube channel.
Your entries should be a good demonstration of your dog’s journey to greatness that would motive others into finding their own pet’s greatness. The winning video will be featured in a Pro Plan commerical, which will be unveiled at the 2013 Westminster Dog Show, presented by Purina Pro Plan.
